Perplexity Shopify Deposits Application — Effective March 1, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the Perplexity Shopify Deposits application (“Application”) handles data. The Application is a private, internal-use tool developed by Bandwear.com Inc. (“Company”) to automate the recording of Shopify deposit data into QuickBooks Online.
2. Data We Access
The Application accesses the following data from Shopify stores operated by the Company:
• Payout summary amounts (gross sales, fees, adjustments, refunds, net deposits)
• Payout dates and statuses
• Store identifiers
The Application creates journal entries in the Company’s QuickBooks Online account containing the above financial summary data.
3. Data We Do NOT Access
The Application does not access, collect, or store:
• Individual customer names, email addresses, or contact information
• Customer payment card details or billing information
• Order-level details or product information
• Any personally identifiable information (PII) of end customers
4. Data Storage
The Application does not maintain a separate database of Shopify or QuickBooks data. Data is read from Shopify and written to QuickBooks in real time. No data is persisted outside of these two platforms.
5. Data Sharing
No data accessed by this Application is shared with any third parties. Data flows exclusively between the Company’s own Shopify stores and the Company’s own QuickBooks Online account.
6. Security
All API communications use HTTPS encryption. API credentials are stored securely and are not shared.
7. Third-Party Users
This Application has no third-party users. It is used exclusively by the Company for internal accounting purposes.
8. Changes to This Policy
The Company may update this policy at any time. As this is an internal-use application, changes are made at the Company’s sole discretion.
